Description
A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a full-time exempt faculty Director of Radiology Services at the Instructor level on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will conduct teaching, patient care, scholarly and service activities in support of the mission, goals and objectives of the school and university with primary responsibility to facilitate the students preclinical, and clinical experience in oral radiology, overseeing all the radiographic operations to ensure high quality imaging services that support patient care, student education, and compliance with all the regulatory and safety standards.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Promote an atmosphere of respect, collegiality, commitment to diversity and social justice, and a humanistic learning environment.
+ Conduct teaching, scholarship, service, and patient care in support of the mission and goals of ASDOH and ATSU.
+ Teaching: preclinical and clinical supervision as an oral radiology professional. Collaborate with curriculum committees to integrate radiology into the pre-doctoral program.
+ Service: Participate in committees, faculty governance, professional societies and associations, community events, and provision of CE.
+ Scholarship: Establish and maintain activity in the area of expertise.
Requirements
+ Hygiene certificate/license required.
+ Preferred: Eligibility for Hygiene licensure in Arizona.
+ Strong knowledge of dental imaging system ( e.g. digital sensors, panoramic, CBCT).
