Job Description

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD), Engagement Operations (EO) Agile Release Train (ART) Product Manager to support the PEO Missiles and Space, Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Lead and manage software product deliveries within the EO Agile Release Train (ART) framework.
• Collaborate with the System Architect, Release Train Engineer, and Business Owners to ensure alignment of product strategy and vision.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps that meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Foster innovation and drive the delivery of high-value features.
• Provide leadership to large-scale software development teams, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Air and Missile Defense domain, with emphasis on Engagement Operations.
• Strong understanding of Engagement Planning, Classification, Identification, and Discrimination (CID), and Track Management.
• Proven experience leading large-scale software development teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile software development practices.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of systems such as IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
• Familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services.
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team.
