Description We are looking for a Part Time Accounting Assistant to join our team in Madison, Alabama, on a contract basis. This part-time role offers the potential for conversion to a possible permanent position, depending on business needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive office environment. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. - Accurately code and enter invoices into the system, ensuring compliance with company policies. - Manage commercial collections and follow up on outstanding payments as needed. - Assist with administrative office tasks, including maintaining records and organizing documents. - Create and process purchase orders in accordance with established procedures. - Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Outlook, and Excel for daily accounting and administrative tasks. - Support automated billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. - Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and improve workflows. - Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive attitude. - Ensure adherence to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Experience with coding invoices and managing purchase orders. - Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Outlook, and Excel. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills in an office setting. - Ability to handle commercial collections professionally and efficiently. - Positive and ambitious attitude with a willingness to learn. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. - Entry-level candidates are welcome, provided they demonstrate a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow.
